I'm based in West Lancashire and am a qualified member of the BPPA, I provide a range of photographic services including Portrait Photography, Digital Imaging and some Commercial Photography.
I specialise in portrait photography, and photograph both people and pets; in particular dogs. I've photographed dogs from the family pet to the Crufts prize winning show dog; my images have been published by the Kennel Club, in the Dog Press, Magazines, Breed Books, Year Books and Calendars both here in the UK and abroad.
I regularly enter the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers international monthly image competition and have been awarded numerous gold and silver awards for my images. The competition is open to entries from photographers world wide and at the end of each year all the monthly "gold award" images go through to the final judging for "Photographer Of The Year". In January 2010 at the The Societies Photographic Convention Awards Dinner it was announced that I had won Pet Photographer Of The Year and in January of this year one of my images was one of only 5 gold award images in the category of pets that was nominated by the panel of judges for the award of Pet Photographer of the Year 2012.

As a dog owner myself, I understand the importance of getting that perfect picture of your pet; my experience of handling, working and showing my own dogs and my regular attendance to training classes for the show ring, agility and obedience helps me to capture that perfect expression when photographing other peoples pets. Owners often comment on my patience and ability to capture images of their pets that they thought would never be possible!
I currently show a Bullmastiff and have competed with him in Obedience – and yes I do like a challenge!!

To get the best out of your pet there is no set time limit for the sitting. The photography is carried out in a relaxed and unhurried manner, with lots of patience, some teamwork between myself and the owners and usually some bribery with food treats or a toy.
My aim is to capture images, which reflect your pet's unique character and beauty and to produce photographic memories that will last a lifetime.
